Do you have questions about your pelvic floor? Take the mystery out of Pelvic Floor PT with a Mama’s Milestones workshop! Let a specialized Doctor of Physical Therapy teach you the basics of pelvic floor PT in a supportive yoga-style format. Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction and attention. This intimate 90-minute workshop includes individual assessments, modifications, hands-on cues, and exercises to practice at home.
The goal of this initial Pelvic Floor Basics Workshop is to educate moms on how to return to exercise safely after having a baby. Mama’s Milestones wants every woman to confidently and safely take their favorite {Fit4Mom} exercise class, lift weights, and get back to feeling themselves. This workshop is safe for newly postpartum mamas, and it is important for seasoned mamas as well! The more women learn about their pelvic floors, the better they can avoid and address issues such as incontinence, prolapse, and diastasis recti. In a Mama’s Milestones workshop, we will move our bodies while learning safe, functional strategies to improve our pelvic floor health.
